Christmas here was chilly as can be expected, but not white. This was Larry's and mine first Christmas in our own house and we really had a ball decorating. Larry's dad sells real Christmas trees at his plant nursery and he sold us one at cost. It must have been God, not only because of the price that we got, but because the tree fit into the PT Cruiser perfectly with no space to spare! Then, upon getting home and putting the tree stand on it fit into the living room perfectly without being crushed by the ceiling.
The living room colours are blue, green and beige so

, I decided to keep the decorations in that scheme by doing a blue and gold tree with white lights. It was beautiful! And instead of stockings, I bought a lot of small things to wrap up and put under the tree just to make it feel like we were children again with lots of gifts under the tree!!! It worked. Larry got a guitar, coffee station that does coffee, espresso and cappuccino along with a grinder and coffee filters, a cheese board, cologne, a silver wine chalice. He got a me a windchim and a "Go-Bible" that is the entire Bible in an mp3 format. I love it! Then he also got everyone to give me chocolate. How terrible....
