The Final Countdown

The time has finally come and I am left wondering whether I put enough items on my "To Do" list and whether there is enough time to get it all done!
I fly out to Atlanta tomorrow night at 6:12 p.m. and then I will go and stay the night at a hotel nearby the Airport. Then, on Sunday morning I will take the Shuttle to the Airport as I have to be there at least 3 hours prior to my flight leaving. The flight for South Africa departs at 10:30 a.m.
I am already so nervous that I will probably check-in at 7 a.m. just to be safe.
Everyone is excited about my trip - almost more than me. The people in my Church Cell Group are all so excited about my trip and the wedding because they used to know a guy who had a ministry in Cape Town. The one lady does photography and jokingly asked me if I needed a photographer for the wedding. I said that she was more than welcome if she had a couple of grand lying around. Somebody else asked if anyone had a rich uncle and I said that if I did I would most assuredly have used him by now!
So, I am almost there. I was looking at photos of Cape Town yesterday and got so homesick and excited at the same time. It is hard to believe it is finally here! I have been working at making this vacation a reality for so long now and the fruition is almost incredible.
Thank God for all His blessings! Without it I would be stuck here forever.
