The strangest thing kept on happening to me in the past week. Perhaps more stupid than strange, but nevertheless.
I kept on saying that I wanted to update my blog, but everytime I signed into my account my blog would be missing. Everything was missing.
Until today. Today I remembered what my username really was and when I signed in, my blog was there. Waiting for me.
So, here I am ready to impart some more news from my exotic life. . .
January was our house-hunting month. We looked all over Pensacola for a house the right size, in the right location and, of course, at the perfect price.
We found the perfect house around the corner from where we were living. The very next street to be exact!
It has a huge yard and a carport. The yard still needs some work done to it, but the rental company is supposed to get onto that soon. Inside, we have wooden parquet floors in every room except for the kitchen, and two bathrooms. We have a little space for the dining room table right next to the kitchen. Most American homes now have the "Eat-in kitchen" dining rooms. Some more expensive ones actually have a space for a formal dining room. Maybe one day.

We have three bedrooms that are rather large and two bathrooms.
We are just having such a great time in our own space! We hardly eat out anymore and we have set up a projector in the lounge and use our wall to project on. This - believe it or not - gives us an 80-inch display! We have a cheaper and bigger screen than most people. So, my audio-visually inclined husband has set up the movie theatre with surround sound and we get to watch movies every night.
As you can see, life is going pretty well. We are having a good time.
